The compression driver's phase plug design is built to improve phase coherency at the horn throat, and the redesigned Tractrix Horn pairs a circular throat with a square mouth to extend high-frequency response. The 100dB sensitivity rating means it needs comparatively little amplifier power to reach high output levels.
