Beryllium is used for the drivers because of its rigidity and low mass, which is designed to let them respond accurately with less distortion than heavier driver materials. The PPA™ lens technology aligns the phase of sound leaving the tweeter, aimed at keeping the soundstage precise off-axis as well as on-axis.
It's sold without a stand, so it can be placed on furniture or mounted according to the room, as the center channel in a Persona series system.
