The ELPAF60 is Epson's replacement air filter for the EB-7XX and EB-L2xx Series, as well as the L600 Series, EB-L400U, EB-L510U, EB-L610U, EB-L615U, EH-LS300B and EH-LS300W projectors.
Fitted at the intake, the filter keeps dust and debris out of the projector's internal light path, which matters most in the corporate boardrooms, classrooms and home theaters where these models tend to run for extended hours at a time.
Replacing the filter on schedule reduces the maintenance burden over the projector's service life and helps keep image quality consistent, since a clogged filter is one of the more common causes of a projector losing brightness gradually rather than all at once.
